LASSUS PARTICIPATES IN NBC TODAY SHOW/NAPFA TELEPHONE COUNSELING

Lassus, CPA, CFP™ practitioner, and President of Lassus Wherley & Associates, P.C.,a NAPFA-registered Financial Advisor, took part on Friday May 23, 2003 in providing a unique opportunity for American women to assess their personal finances and start down the road to healthier financial futures. NBC’s Today Show partnered with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the nation’s leading association of financial advisors, to give thousands of women nationwide telephone access to free counseling from more than 200 NAPFA finance experts.
“NAPFA is honored to have been chosen to provide Today Show viewers with the opportunity to speak with a highly qualified financial planner – at no charge and with no future commitment required, “ said Steven Kanaly, chairman of NAPFA. “Our local NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisors will be standing by at phone banks across the country to counsel, educate, and support callers. It’s an unprecedented effort.”
Ms Lassus, was one of the more than 200 members of NAPFA who participated in this national educational campaign.
