Suzanne C. Low, J.D., CFP®  


Suzanne joined Lassus Wherley in 1997 as a Certified Financial Planner™ certificant and general counsel and currently serves as the firm's Director, Florida Operations.  Suzanne enriches her work with generous amounts of community service to the business, professional and non-profit communities.  

She began her career by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin in 1970.  She earned a Masters Degree from Indiana University in 1972 and her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 1981.

Accomplishments

Suzanne is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. District Court.  She earned the CFP® certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

For the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners, she was elected President 1995-96, Vice President of Administration, Vice President of Public Affairs, Nominations Chair, Northern Region President and Morris Chapter President.  For the National Association of Women Business Owners, Suzanne served on the Member Services Council and Public Affairs Council.

Suzanne chaired the New Jersey Supreme Court District X Ethics Committee in 1992 at the end of her four-year term.  She later served as Special Master of the committee and sat on the New Jersey Supreme Court Ethics Financial Committee.

Suzanne conducts workshops on exit strategies and wealth creation for business owners at Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Center's Entrepreneur’s Law School. She teaches seminars on investing for retirement for the "Women: Take Charge of Your Money!" program at University of Florida Extension Service. 

Suzanne is a contributing writer for the Naples Daily News. Her articles have appeared in Business Edge, Garden State Woman, The Bottom Line and Gulf Coast Woman magazine.

Suzanne has appeared on television and radio programs ion New Jersey and Florida to discuss finances and the economy.

Honors

Suzanne was a candidate for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Women in Business Advocate Award, and she was a delegate to the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business.  She was chosen to be a participant in the Charter Class of Leadership Bonita, 1999-2000.
